Hello

My name is Elray Beld. I was given the nickname Fudd after a burn injury at a very young age left me looking a bit like Elmer Fudd. I go by, and prefer the name Fudd. I was born and raised in the Lake Norden, South Dakota area. I attended Hamlin Education Center, graduating in the class of 2012. I married my wife Jackie in 2014. We are raising our children in the small town where I grew up.

If you want to give someone a gift come and see the clocks I have for sale that have been cleaned and are ready for a new home. Or I can build you a clock if you have something special you want.

My Story

I spent many hours of my childhood at my Dad's Welding and Machine shop, where he taught me to manufacture or repair basically anything. From large earth movers to hydraulic cylinders to kitchen mixers. After High school I tried a few different employment options. Custom harvesting, lumberyard attendant, concrete grinding/polishing, vehicle/large equipment mechanic, then going back to the family business with my Dad for eight years. I made a few battery-operated clocks in that time. We bought our first mechanical clock in 2014 and have since acquired a handful more. I was immediately hooked on those tiny moving parts which run for so many years in perfect harmony. Until they stop for some reason, and that is what I like to figure out. Why they stopped, and what has to be done for them to resume.

I do house calls on grandfather clocks because those big clocks do not like to move.
